My name is Allison, and welcome to my website! I'm glad you are considering
natural birth for you and your baby. It can be a wonderful experience. I always
knew I wanted to give birth naturally, and when I was pregnant with my daughter, I
researched my options. After looking at many different methods, I came to the
conclusion that the Bradley Method® was the best choice for me. And now that
I've had such an exciting and fun (yes, fun) experience with pregnancy, labor and
birth, I want to help others do the same.
Classes in the Bradley Method® will be taught out of my home in Ashburn,
Saturday mornings at 9:00am. Call or email me to find out when my next class
begins.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss the Bradley Method®, childbirth class
dates or any concerns you might have.

My desire to have a natural birth started years before I even got pregnant. Little
did I know that it would take years of trying to get pregnant, including three IVF
cycles before I could have my natural birth. When I finally did get pregnant through
IVF, it was very important to me to complete my pregnancy with the safest birth
possible, and my research showed me that natural birth was safest way to go. I
didn't want my baby or myself to be subjected to unnecessary (risky) drugs or
interventions. My research led me to the Bradley Method®, which taught me how
to stay healthy and low risk and how to take care of myself and my baby throughout
pregnancy, labor, birth and beyond.
After laboring for many hours at home, using what I learned in my Bradley®
classes, we went to the hospital where I quickly (and fairly easily) delivered my
beautiful baby girl. It was an amazing experience. One of the first things I thought
was “That was great! Everyone has got to do this!” I would do it over again the
same way in a heartbeat! A few days later I was still thinking about what a powerful
experience natural childbirth was and how more women should be able to have
the same type of experience that I did. And that’s when I decided to become a
Bradley® teacher. Now I get to help other people have their own amazing birth
experiences. In my opinion, natural childbirth is an experience that cannot be
improved upon.
